Do you have a strong commitment to student success and supporting individuals through academic or personal challenges? We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Student Success Coach to join the Mitchell Technical College team.

 

Position Overview

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting students as they navigate their college journey. This position focuses on academic coaching, career coaching, and personal support, with a holistic approach to promoting student development. While mental health experience is not required, candidates with a background or training in mental health, counseling, or related fields are strongly preferred. The coach will also teach some sections of the Student Success course to incoming students, helping them build a strong foundation for their college experience.

Annual Security Report/Campus Security Crime Statistics

The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act requires that the college’s Annual Security and Fire Safety Report which includes crime statistics be made available to prospective employees and prospective students upon request. Mitchell Tech’s Annual Security and Fire Safety Report includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported Clery crimes that occurred on campus and on public property within or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus. The report also includes institutional policies concerning campus safety and security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault prevention and response, timely warnings, emergency response, and other matters.
