Mitchell Tech is seeking an Instructor to teach full-time in the Wind Turbine Technology (WTT) Program.

 

Applicants must have experience with, and the ability to teach, a broad range of courses related to wind technology including turbine and tower installation, maintenance, and operations; troubleshooting; and safety.  A minimum of 3 years of experience in the wind industry is required.  An Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Degree in Wind Energy is preferred. 

 

Preference will be given to applicants who have related industry experience, teaching experience, evidence of teaching skills, ability to create lesson plans, and experience working with diverse student populations.  Excellent time management, organization, and attention to detail are a plus.

Annual Security Report/Campus Security Crime Statistics

The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act requires that the college’s Annual Security and Fire Safety Report which includes crime statistics be made available to prospective employees and prospective students upon request. Mitchell Tech’s Annual Security and Fire Safety Report includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported Clery crimes that occurred on campus and on public property within or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus. The report also includes institutional policies concerning campus safety and security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault prevention and response, timely warnings, emergency response, and other matters.
