Mitchell Technical College is seeking a Registered Nursing (RN) Instructor to join the Mitchell Technical College Nursing Program

 

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Experience – Minimum of three years nursing experience with one year of clinical experience in the areas of teaching responsibility.
  • Degree – Baccalaureate degree in Nursing required; Masters in Nursing Education preferred.
  • Credentials/Licensing – Must possess and maintain a current and unrestricted South Dakota Registered Nursing (RN) license, required immunizations, and CPR certification.

 

The Registered Nursing (RN) Instructor position:

  • Position will begin on August 1, 2024
  • Teach nursing theory, skills practice labs, simulations, and clinicals in a variety of settings within the RN program.  
  • Responsibilities include but are not limited to curriculum development, assessment of learning outcomes, and advising students for degree and career success.

Annual Security Report/Campus Security Crime Statistics

The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act requires that the college’s Annual Security and Fire Safety Report which includes crime statistics be made available to prospective employees and prospective students upon request. Mitchell Tech’s Annual Security and Fire Safety Report includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported Clery crimes that occurred on campus and on public property within or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus. The report also includes institutional policies concerning campus safety and security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault prevention and response, timely warnings, emergency response, and other matters.
